All-Time Great Concert

The US Festival 1982

Sep 3 - 5, 1982 (44 years ago)

Glen Helen Amphitheater     San Bernardino, California, United States

The US Festival was a series of two festivals organized by Apple cofounder Steve Wozniak and concert promoter Bill Graham to promote the integration of technology with rock music. It was also meant to highlight the 1980s as a community-oriented decade, in contrast to the preceding decade which Wozniak saw as being too "Me" oriented. The first iteration of the US Festival occurred between September 3 and 5, 1982 and notably featured the first use of the U.S.-Soviet Space Bridge.
