Asynchrone is a French electro jazz sextet. In 2023, the group made a sunny side up version of Ryuichi Sakamoto's 'Behind The Mask', a track he wrote when he was a member of the Yellow Magic Orchestra. Asynchrone turned it into danceable pop tune, with treated vocals riding the wave of old school synths. It is a track from Plastic Bamboo (2023), a full album of reworks of Sakamoto material.
