Avec Moi, French for “with me”, is less a moniker than an idea that 31-year-old Chicago native Joshua Dugue operates under. After exploring a variety of musical paths, Joshua devoted himself to recording his first EP with producer Eric Hufford for the better part of a year. With the release of his self-titled EP, Avec Moi explores the results of romantic wanderlust and lessons hard learned with dreamy atmospherics and gritty emotional guitar work reminiscent of Robert Cray.
