Cambridge based band Badwell Ash is Stewart Charlesworth, age 19 (guitar, piano and vocals), Simon Pettitt, 17 (bass) and Caroline (Caz) Adlington, 18 (drums). The band was formed in March 2004 after Stewart and Simon, who had both just left separate bands, started jamming together. Initially, the music was solely acoustic guitars and the guys performed a series of gigs in the Cambridge area. In August 2004 the decision was made to broaden the music base and introduce electric guitars, piano (occasionally) and a drummer.
