Brett Eugene Ralph is an academic, author and poet, and has been the lead singer of several seminal Louisville bands, including the hardcore punk group, Malignant Growth, in the early mid-1980s, after which he sang in the post-hardcore group, Fading Out, as well as in Rising Shotgun, and subsequently, Brett Eugene Ralph's Kentucky Chrome Revue.
