DJ CA$HMERE was born near Toronto, Canada and grew up in a typicaly bland suburban setting. However, his sights were locked on the cities where he longed to rather be. Influenced by Chicago, New York & Detriot dance music, he started playing out when he was a teenager at house parties, block parties and neighbourhood clubs and selling mix tapes in the hood with his former crew. His broad DJ influences range from Jack Master Funk to Funkmaster Flex and from Kraftwerk to Daft Punk - but moreso the Ghetto Tech originators DJ Funk and DJ Assault.
