CJ Desmond, aka Charles J & CJ the DJ, has been a prominent member of the Midwest underground music scene since 1999. Growing up in a somewhat small community, music inspired events were few and far between. CJ’s original interest was in punk music, a small community in which he was a much sought after bass player. Charles made his way to his first electronic music event at the age of 16, a time in which the local scene was slowly finding itself.
