Alex Post, known as Customary, is an independent hip hop artist from Boise Idaho. He grew up in the church as a pastors child, and got his start with music by being involved in the church at a young age through choir, and drumming in worship bands. He developed a love for hip hop music by growing up in a small town called Chehalis Washington, which was directly between Seattle and Portland, and tuning in to the hip hop radio stations from both major cities.
