Im Jahre 1994 formierten sich fünf junge Musiker aus dem Raum Offenburg/Gengenbach zur Band „Deadly Silence“, die mit einer Mischung aus Metal, Hardcore (Gitarren waren da noch an Metallica, Suicidal Tendencies angelehnt...) und melodischem Gesang in der lokalen Undergroundszene für Furore sorgten. Die Urbesetzung bestand dabei aus Heiko Faller (Gesang), Lars Müller (Drums), Markus „Finke“ Finkenzeller (Gitarre), Heiko „Päppel“ Pfaff (Bass) und Michael Domfeld (Gitarre).
