Decomposure is comprised of Caleb Mueller. He was born in 1984. When he's not busy making music he is a graphic designer. On October 28, 2005 an ambitious musical project began. Mueller used 23 hour-long cassette tapes to record his daily activities. Over the course of a year he digitized, cut and compacted the field recordings found on the tapes. Each hour was used to make separate songs. The first 12 hours resulted in his most recent album, Vertical Lines A.
