Dividend was a shoegaze and indie pop band from Fayetteville, Arkansas. The band formed in September 2012 by guitarist and singer-songwriter Cody Nielsen and drummer Jackson Lafargue. They began writing and recording demos which became their first EP, The Mind's Eye, released in October 2013. After joining up with bassist Jordan Miller, guitarist Drew Trulock and vocalist and keyboardist Christine Tan, Dividend began work on material for their only full length, Synaesthesia, released in December 2014.
