Musical life of Ediz Hafızoglu, who was born in Silistra/Bulgaria on 19 September 1980 started with his father’s teaching him how to play "darbuka" and especially with his learning to play "saz" as a result of the insistence of his grandfather. He participated in “Sakin Tuna Art Group” in 1992 founded by his grandfather Mumun Musaoglu and played for about two years in the festivals in many towns and cities of Bulgaria and won awards in competitions.
