Engrained was born in Sarstedt, Germany in the early 90's as a 3-headed hardcore band. First members were Axel Niklowitz on drums, Jens “Fenne” Fennekohl bass / vocals and Olaf “Stoffi” Krebs on guitar. The first relevant release was a 6-track CD called “Capricious” in 1992 followed by many different smaller releases and loads of appearances on samplers like on a tribute sampler for Hüsker Dü together with some bigger names of the scene and Poison Idea’s classic “Plastic Bomb” which is still part of the actual live set.
