Facundo Cabral was a very popular singer and philosopher. He was also an author of many of the songs he sang and many artists have adopted his songs as well. He sung "protest" songs that made him popular. He also had traveled with Alberto Cortez and made a record together with him. Mr. Cabral appeared early in his career at the Palacio de Bellas Artes in Mexico City.
