Fenrismaw is a death metal act that was formed in the early winter of 2009 in Poughkeepsie, New York. The band is notable for it's unique sound and range of influences from doom, to thrash, to black metal. Lyrically, Fenrismaw is heavily inspired by Norse Mythology and is vocally angry and antichristian. In February, 2010 they released their self titled debut EP, Fenrismaw, featuring four songs and nearing 25 minutes in length.
