Fire Nuns were born from the charred remains of the South Dakota band The Wax Bananas. Formed while all members were still in high school, the band dazzled small, but rowdy crowds with their unique take on pop fueled garage rock. In March 2013, their debut self-recorded album, 'Dad, Jr.' was released to very positive reactions, one reviewer likening the record to be an impressive mix of the Beatles, 60's nostalgia, various metal bands, and yes, even Euro-pop.
