Glen Hansard (April 21, 1970 – July 29, 2026) was an Irish singer-songwriter, actor, and multi-instrumentalist who rose to prominence as a member of "The Frames". In 2005, he joined Markéta Irglová as one half of the folk rock duo "The Swell Season", and in 2012, he dropped his first solo album "Rhythm and Repose". On July 29, 2026, Glen Hansared passed away in a motorcycle accident at the age of 56.
