Svetozar Lazovic Gongo was born on August 12, 1952 in Velika Jezevica, Serbia, Yugoslavia. He was a very popular trumpet player and brass band leader, known for documentary Guca - the Capital of the Trumpet (2005) and the songs used in a classic film Moj tata na odredjeno vreme (1982) and TV shows "Folk Majstori" (1990-1992) and "60 najlepsih narodnih pesama" (2017-2018). Svetozar has released 11 studio albums, live CD "Blehmuzika" (VPRO, 1989) with his most popular tracks "Uzicko kolo" and "Seva" and several compilations.
