GYVAI started out in the fall of 2001. In the summer of 2003, they released the debut album (self-titled) and played many a show, not just in Lithuania, but elsewhere as well. In 2004 they did a tour of Latvia. In 2005 they did a short tour of Germany (Koln, Dusseldorf and Bonn)
