In First Person was formed in New Jersey in 2005 by Tom (The Assistant, You & I), Jake (Dreams Forever Drowning), and Vanessa (The Wage Of Sin). Shortly after, Benn ([ artist]A Petal Fallen, Pyramids) joined on bass, filling out the band's sound. The band eventually settled back into a three-piece after Jake left the band in 2006.
