Johnny Gunn began performing professionally in 1990 at the age of 15. He was the rhythm guitarist and lead vocalist of a Northern B.C. rock group called The Shotgunn Symphony until 1995. During those five years the group enjoyed much local success with airplay and media coverage and performed regularly in and around the Peace River area of British Columbia and Alberta as well as the City of Prince George, B.C.
