Created in Asheville, North Carolina in 2010, Kangarot is an independent synth "band" that consists of Josh Reed and Wes Hollamon. Hollamon and Reed met in their first year of college through friends, and bonded over their tallness -- and how much people hate them at concerts. Determined to write music tall people and little people could enjoy, no matter their position in the crowd, Reed and Hollamon began on a donated Casio and continue to dream big, love the 80s, and make music -- when the Playstation has become too boring.
