Katarza was one of the first Serbian bands which played alternative rock with a mixture of industrial rock. They've existed from 1992 to 1997. Their first album self-titled "Katarza" (1994) was the big breakthrough for Serbian rock scene. It was recorded in studio "Do Re Mi" and later released for Start Today Records. Following shortly was their second album "Burning European Home" (1996), which was much more electronic and even more trance -genre influenced.
