Kelsy Karter (born 1 August 1992), now known as Kelsy Karter & The Heroines, is a New Zealand singer-songwriter. She always considered herself to be a little bit of an outsider, following her own rules, living by her own design. A somewhat mischievous teenager, Kelsy would often skip school and end up in the principal’s office, and while her classmates would be afraid of going against authority, Karter was proud of being the one that did. And even enjoyed the rush of trouble.
