Laura Ann Kruteck (née Branigan; July 3, 1952 – August 26, 2004) was an American singer. She achieved commercial success in the 1980s, with her 1982 cover of Umberto Tozzi’s single "Gloria" reaching number two on the U.S. Billboard Hot 100 and staying on the chart for 36 weeks. The song also reached number one in Australia and Canada and entered the top 10 of the UK Singles Chart.
