This co-ed four piece from Chicago is playing some gnarly sludge-inflected noise-rock with plenty of crust punk ‘tude to go around. The vocals reminds of how Laura Pleasants used to sound when Kylesa was still pissed and kicking out hard jams. The band barrels through tempo changes and one meaty riff after another between the glorious squeals of amplifier feedback. The songs are somewhat short and to the point with no tracks exceeding the three-minute mark and more than half not even cracking two minutes. It’s definitely worth your time.
