MaiGroup is an Estonian-Swedish jazz-fusion band led by Estonian bass player Mai Agan. She called together a group with whom to play her own compositions. Story-telling melodies, beautifully crooked harmonies, hip grooves, gripping beats and a lot of improvisation. It’s honest, it’s fun, surprising and sometimes bittersweet.
