MANU GUIX fa la seva formació musical al Conservatori Municipal de Música de Barcelona (1994) Paral·lelament reb classes de clarinet, harmonia i contrapunt, violí, cant, piano jazz, guitarra, bateria... Guix estudia un any a l’escola LIPA (Liverpool Institute for Performing Arts) on reb piano, cant, composició i arranjaments, combo, tècniques de gravació en estudi, percussió i harmonia.
