Maria Scombona is a band from Aracaju, Sergipe, in north-eastern Brazil. It makes a very unique mixture of rock, blues, soul and pop with local Brazilian rhythms. The lyrics are all very interesting and sung in Portuguese with the region's typical strong accent.
