Mario Canonge is a pianist from Martinique (FR). He plays mostly latin jazz but will occasionally have tracks on his albums that fall under, zouk, compas, biguine, maziorka, salsa, etc. Some of his early albums include "Trait d'union" (1993), "Hommage a Marius Cultier" (1994) and "Aromes Caraibes" (1995). He has recurring collaborations with Ralph Thamar and has toured with Beethova Obas.
