Menno was born on February 24, 2000 in Leiderdorp. He lives in Alphen aan de Rijn with his parents Berlinda and Marcel. Music caught him at a young age. As a child he became silent in the stroller when mother Berlinda sang a song. He also grabbed the microphone at a young age at weddings and sang "Toppertje" (and a breezer pineapple) at the top of his lungs. From the age of ten to fifteen, singing became less until Menno joined the boy band Square, where he became the fourth 'boy'.
