Metal Monkey Machine was a Manchester-based psychedelic band formed by squat punks in the late eighties and early nineties. The influential art rockers hailed from the notorious Hulme Crescents. They toured extensively and gained credible appreciation from serious music press as well as maintaining a reputation for wild, anarchic live parties and shows.
