MJ Guider is New Orleans native Melissa Guion. Reflecting on nocturnal fantasies through a haze of chugging, re-amped goth guitar, blown-out drums and suspended, diaphanous vocals. At times offering a classic sound through a thick slab of frosted glass and elswhere, humming, hymnal waves of harmonic white noise are disrupted by powdery rhythms, amplified by layers of distortion and pure feeling.
