Filip Kaniecki aka Monosylabikk was born in Zielona Gora, Poland. His foray into the world of music began when he started to play the drums in a punk rock band. It wasn’t long before his fellow band mates cottoned on to his immense talent and filip decided to focus all of his time and energy on his music. Midi controllers, turntables and drum kits all played their part in shaping his thirst for musical knowledge. Guided by the ‘cut and paste’ school of thought, he then started working on his solo project.
