The name nideit comes from Dave’s Mother. She would call Dave an idiot when he would joke around with her, but because of her Portuguese accent, it sounded more like nid - ee- it. David lost his mom to cancer his senior year in high school and the idea for the name was born in her memory. Nideit started out as a dream to play energetic music that would move the feet of the drunken bar goers and win the hearts of music lovers everywhere. The idea formed in San Francisco where David Nunes (vocals, guitar) attended his freshman year of college.
