American artist Panda Bear (Noah Lennox, of Animal Collective fame) and his British musical partner Sonic Boom (Peter Member, of Spaceman 3 fame) collaborated on the August 2022 album Reset and its July 2026 successor, A ? of When. The latter album was, at least initially, not issued on streaming services, but only in physical formats. As different as they are, both albums are heavily inspired by psychedelic American sixties pop by The Beach Boys and the like and may be regarded as 21st century interpretations of pop sounds from the era.
