Pastel Blank is the shape-shifting project of Canadian songwriter Angus Watt. Based in [placformed]Victoria, British Columbia, he blends quirky post-punk edges with pop-minded hooks and off-kilter grooves. With collaborators from Montréal, Vancouver and Victoria, Pastel Blank craft what they call "dance music for people who don’t know how to dance", a nervy, playful collage of familiar yet strange sounds. Two short albums thus far: Pastel Blanc (2022) and Unmade in Minutes (2026).
