Having formed their current line-up in early 2002, Red Top Matches recorded their initial demo ‘The Calm After The Storm EP’ at Bristol’s Access To Music studios. Time has seen their sound mellow slightly from a much heavier style of rock, and evolve into an honest sounding, low on effects, raunchy rock, with definite a influence stemming from the likes of AC/DC and Guns ‘n’ Roses, right down to their signature, ultra tight song endings that epitomized their sound.
