Suroor is Karachi-born industrial hyperpop artist based in Memphis, Tennessee. Her music draws from an eclectic array of influences including shoegaze, sufi eastern classical, vaporwave, bhangra, alternative R&B, riot grrrl, UK drill, digital hardcore, and spoken word poetry. In addition to her music, she also helps to run a local DIY music label/artist co-op based in Memphis called Purgatory Pressings.
