Teddy Buckner (July 16, 1909 in Sherman, Texas----September 22, 1994 in Los Angeles, California) was a jazz trumpeter who played alongside artists such as Benny Carter, Kid Ory, and Sidney Bechet (in the 50s, in France, where Buckner became quite popular). He also worked with blues musician, T-Bone Walker. Buckner did some acting, as well, and played both trumpet and cornet for films. (In 1958 he did the soundtrack for "King Creole.") ...
