In the spring of 2000 Luke Hale and Collin Troy (2bers) scraped together what few extra bucks they could, bought a sampler and a 4-track recorder, and got to work. Since then, the 2bers have become one of the most prominent Hip-Hop groups in New Mexico. Reminiscent of indie-icons, Atmosphere, the 2bers explore the emotive, personal side of Hip-Hop. They unite poetic precision with provocative production, and abandon the clichés of “fast food” music.
