The Beehavers are a gypsy voodoo folk n' rock n' roll band led by singer/songwriter Bryant Denison. With roots in Sacramento, Bryant took his darker '80s and '90s rock leanings down to San Francisco where he has absorbed more of the fun, laid back folk and pop of his friends in fellow SF Bay bands like The Blank Tapes, fpodbpod and Ash Reiter, topped off with a hint of Johnny Cash's rockabilly drawl, a splash of Screamin' Jay Hawkins' kicked-up blues, and the roving gypsy vibe of bands like Devotchka and Beirut.
