Mollie Wells (vocals/keyboards), Carlos Nunez (keyboards), Jason Laveris (drums), and Conrad Vollmer (guitar) formed The Cinema Eye in their native Columbus, OH, in early 2002. The four friends were bored to tears with their day jobs and obsessed with music, so getting a band together was just. Within a year, Sound Virus Records came calling to The Cinema Eye's brash, punk-inspired rock and offered to release their first record. Vollmer's commitment was short-lived, for he exited after six months.
