The Fishwives is a South African band from Grahamstown. The began as an acoustic trio during the 2013 National Arts Festival in Grahamstown, South Africa, performing on balconies, street corners, rustic rural outhouses and festival stages. The Fishwives have performed at Oppikoppi, Rocking the Daisies, the Hugh Masekela Soweto Heritage Festival, the Great Zululand Music Festival, Wild Spirit and Cape Town Fringe (winning the Silver Fringe Fresh Music Award 2016).
