Conceived as a "just for fun" side project by founding members Stubhy Pandav and Ramzi Hassan, The Insecurities have quickly become one of the most exciting up and coming bands in the Chicago area. The band knew they had stumbled upon something worth pursuing when they headlined and sold out their first show during MOBfest at Chicago's Elbo Room in the summer of 2008. Later that same year, they put out their debut EP Ban the Kiss Hello: A Social Commentary to much fanfare.
