The Meringues (sometimes incorrectly called "The Merangues" and other disgraceful spelling errors) was a five-piece band from Portsmouth, England. They were formed in Autumn 2005, and they consisted of Bill "Erection Freak" on bass, Freddie "Big Genitals" on guitar, Sam "Tree Hugging Hillbilly" on guitar, Vince "Why Did He Cut Off That Afro?" on vocals, and Alfie "Ginge" on drums. Their line-up was fairly flexible however, with most members singing a song or two.
