The Plastic Cherries from Salt Lake City,UT, United States, began as a home recording project between couple Shelby and Joe Maddock. With pianist Natalie Hamilton, drummer Wayne Burdick, and bassist Stephen Cox, they have grown into a full band that channels the theatrics and craft of 1970s glam, psychedelic and pop/rock while still feeling experimental and 'homemade'. Two full-length albums were released thus far: Sunrise (2021) and The Plastic Cherries on the Moon (2025).
