Originally known as The Royal Crests from Scotland, Karl Stuart and The Profiles (who included guitarist Miller Anderson and keyboardist Eddie Hammill) changed their name into Karl Stuart & The Profiles on moving to London. mercury Records issued a single, 'Love of My Eyes' (September 1965) before the group changed their name again, this time to The Profile. Two more 45s followed under that name: 'Haven't They Got Better Things to Do' and the Harold Burrage cover, 'Got to Find a Way'.
