Toni Valen (real name: Toni van Valen) is a musician and artist from Tilburg, The Netherlands. In the early 1980s he formed his own band and in 1982 and 1983 a number of songs were recorded at the Pink Noise Studio in Eindhoven. His Dutch-language new wave LP, Zelda (1984) finally came out thru Valen's own label, Oktavio. The 12 songs on the album are clearly influenced by the new wave movements of the time, including the soaring synthesizer sound. Toni Valen was a musical acquaintance of the late Henny Vrienten.
