Yölintu on vuonna 1992 Noormarkussa perustettu suomalainen tanssiorkesteri, joka teki kaksi ensimmäistä albumiaan omakustanteena. Päivänvalon yhtye näki kunnolla vuonna 1996, jolloin Esa Nieminen kutsui Yölinnun Warner Music Finlandille, josta alkoi Esa Niemisen ja Yölinnun menestyksekäs yhteistyö. Vuonna 1997 Yölintu nousi koko kansan tietoisuuteen Kesäillan valssi-ohjelmasta, jossa Yölintu oli house-bändinä.
